01 Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of rfqindia.com (the "Site") and the sourcing, procurement, quality inspection, and related services provided by SCV Tech Pte Ltd ("RFQIndia," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site, submitting an RFQ, or engaging our Services, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
02 Description of services
RFQIndia provides outsourced sourcing and procurement services for industrial and engineering components, including supplier identification and vetting, RFQ management, negotiation support, quality control inspection, and logistics/customs coordination, as further described on our How It Works page. Specific scope, pricing, and deliverables for a given engagement will be set out in a quote, order confirmation, or separate written agreement between RFQIndia and the Client ("Order").
03 Eligibility
Our Services are intended for business entities and professionals acting in a business capacity. By using the Site or Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you represent.
04 Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete specifications, drawings, and requirements for any RFQ
- Respond to requests for clarification or approval within a reasonable time to avoid delays
- Ensure that any designs, specifications, or materials you provide do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Comply with applicable import laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including obtaining any necessary licenses or permits
- Make payments in accordance with the agreed Order terms
05 Quotes, pricing, and payment
Quotes provided by RFQIndia are estimates based on information available at the time and may be subject to change based on supplier pricing, currency fluctuations, tariff/duty changes, or material cost changes, and will be confirmed before an Order is finalized. Payment terms, currency, and schedule will be specified in each Order. Tariffs, duties, and applicable taxes are passed through at cost unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in delayed delivery or suspension of services, at RFQIndia's discretion.
06 Quality assurance and inspection
Where included in an Order, RFQIndia will conduct pre-shipment quality inspection against the Client's provided specifications. Inspection scope and standards will be defined per Order. RFQIndia will use commercially reasonable efforts to identify defects prior to shipment but does not guarantee that all defects will be detected. Any post-delivery quality disputes should be raised promptly in accordance with the resolution process specified in the applicable Order or Master Services Agreement.
07 Intellectual property
Any drawings, specifications, or proprietary information you share with RFQIndia remain your property. RFQIndia will use such materials solely to fulfill your Order and will share them with suppliers only as necessary for quoting, production, and quality verification, subject to confidentiality obligations described in Section 8. All content on the Site (text, design, logos, and branding) is the property of RFQIndia and may not be reproduced without permission.
08 Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public technical, business, or pricing information disclosed by the other party in connection with an Order, and to use such information solely for the purposes of the engagement. 09 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RFQIndia's total liability arising out of or related to any Order shall not exceed the fees paid by the Client for that specific Order. RFQIndia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10 Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available." RFQIndia makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of quotes, supplier performance beyond agreed inspection scope, or uninterrupted availability of the Site, except as expressly stated in a specific Order.
11 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RFQIndia harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, inaccurate specifications you provided, or your violation of applicable import/export laws.
12 Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement in accordance with the notice period specified in the applicable Order or Master Services Agreement. RFQIndia reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for violation of these Terms.
13 Governing law and dispute resolution
